Were you at our recent Care Show?

STORM recently held the North West Annual Care Show 2015 at Southport Theatre & Convention Centre. We had a total of 40 fantastic stands and over 200 care professionals attended from all over the region. The day was a huge success and we can’t wait for next year!

STORM were at Manchester Cathedral this Easter Sunday alongside the BBC where a live episode of Songs of Praise was being broadcast!

This week, team STORM attended a JAG meeting with everyone involved in the organisation of Liverpool Sound City 2015. It was exciting to talk about the upcoming event which we are confident will be a huge success!

Business Continuity event for the Care Sector

This week, alongside InvestSefton, STORM delivered a business continuity event regarding the care sector at Bootle Town Hall. It was a huge success with outstanding feedback!

STORM deliver Table Top Exercise to Lancaster City Council

Ahead of the Lancaster Light up the Skies event set to be held on Saturday 8th November, the team at STORM headed down to Lancaster to hold an event table top exercise with local authorities and LCC themselves. This was a fantastic meeting and the team managed to get a great deal out of this! STORM are now more than prepared for the event next week and are very excited!

Jonathan Cunningham presents to Liverpool Uni Students

Jonathan and the team were invited to the University of Liverpool Management School to deliver a presentation to the third year Business students who were covering a module in Events Management. Jonathan lectured the students on the importance of branding and budgeting and took many questions from the students who were all fascinated about what STORM had achieved.

Team STORM learn the art of blowing things up!

Jonathan and Phil were in London this week at a stage pyrotechnics course... They are now part of the Association of Stage Pyrotechnics and can officially blow things up!

Southport Fashion Festival

This spectacular event was held on the waterfront at Southport’s Promenade and featured singing acts, dancers and a fabulous catwalk showcasing some of the local clothing retailers. STORM was on site throughout the build and whole event overseeing all safety aspects of the show. Overall, the show saw approximately 2,000 people attend throughout the day, both enjoying the sun and the entertainment.

STORM and Wimbledon Winners - Liverpool International Tennis Tournament 2014

The beautiful opening day weather was complimented by the stunning set-up which in turn meant that all at team STORM had a brilliant day. The highlight of which being watching our home-grown amateur Jodie Barrage, a talent beyond her 15 years, deservedly beating the current Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli. Jodie’s natural-talent is evident and we look forward to cheering her on as a future Wimbledon champion (no pressure Jodie). Well done Jodie and well done Liverpool Hope University for their involvement with this spectacular event.

After three days of inspection, STORM are delighted to announce that we have now been recommended for ISO accreditation.
